This is the traditional way to picture Jesus kneeling at prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. A chalice (showing partially in the upper right corner) is presented to Jesus from the top of a hill by an angel. Meanwhile, the Apostles sleep. The idea of "garden" is expressed by the fruit-filled trees in the background.
